"Unspoken truth is spoken everywhere." Psalm 19:3-4
What if God showed up, touched you on the shoulder and said "let's talk!" Would that make Him more real for you? An intelligent, expected answer from most of us would be YES.
The truth is, what's visible and touchable are realistic facts that no amount of reasoning can discount. Facts captivate our attention, arouse our desires, energize our discussion and establish our conclusion. Our response to what’s factual has no bearing on the underlying component or the ultimate outcome of the actual fact. Although facts can be dangerous and destructive, they can also be logically conceived and are visibly available.
So, you may ask, 'what's the difference between a fact and the truth, and how does God fit in both elements of reality? My answer to both parts of that question is, a fact is a valid experience, and the truth is a discovered reality. When the reality of God graduates from a valid experience to a discovered truth, there is no need for logical debates; the subject is now very personal.
God is my personal reality:
“The revelation of GOD is whole and pulls our lives together. The signposts of GOD are clear and point out the right road. The life-maps of GOD are right, showing the way to joy. The directions of GOD are plain and easy on the eyes. GOD ’s reputation is twenty-four-carat gold, with a lifetime guarantee. The decisions of GOD are accurate down to the nth degree.” Psalm 19:7-9 MSG
My prayer is, that in 2017 the reality of God will graduate from a valid experience to a discovered truth.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
