We believe you can come to God just as you are.
We were created to have a loving relationship with God: "So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." (Genesis 1:27) "'For I know the plans I have for you,' says the lord. 'They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.'" (Jeremiah 29:11)
Everyone has sinned: "If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth." (1 John 1:8)
Sin has separated us from God: "O God, you take no pleasure in wickedness; you cannot tolerate the sins of the wicked." (Psalm 5:4)
God sent His Son to pay the price for our sins: "For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)
You can receive God’s Son, Jesus Christ, in your heart right now by faith: "If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved." (Romans 10:9-10)
When we receive Jesus as our Savior, we enter into everlasting life with Him: "My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." (Galatians 2:20)
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I open my heart and I invite you inside to be my Friend to be my Savior and to be my God. Forgive me of my sins, wash me clean. From this day forward I want to follow you all the days of my life. I believe in you and I put my trust in you. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
If you just prayed that prayer and meant it, Jesus Christ has now taken residence in your heart! Not only that, but he has forgiven you of all your sin. The Bible tells us, “But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.” (1 John 1:9). God also promises, “He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west.” (Psalms 103:12).
Your decision to give your life to Jesus also means that you are now going to Heaven one day. That’s a lot to be thankful for! You need to take some practical steps to grow strong spiritually: read the Bible, pray, and go to church.
